It’s been a while since we’ve posted a dose of really obscure, aristocratic techno music, but I think the time seems about right, especially given Toronto’s massive line-up this weekend. To help us, we’re commissioning one of the royal princes of ominous house and underground techno, Mr. Clément Meyer, from the growing Parisian empire known as Get The Curse Music. With a podcast series well over 100 issues, and an EP Catalogue that has drawn some much-deserved acclaim from industry heavyweights, both Clément Meyer and Get The Curse are on a fast-track to becoming some of the most prestigious names, in a very competitive genre.
The remix by Meyer that we’re featuring today is, in-fact, not a Get The Curse release, but it does offer significant insight into the quality production that this Frenchman is dishing as of late. The track (like the EP) is titled Cambia La Vida, by Elagua, a pair of Italian house producers from Treviso. The EP dropped on a label called Family NAME, at the beginning of July, and has continued to grow on us ever since. Get your fill of sweet, deep techno style, and let us know what you think!
