What happens when you throw together two of 2010′s biggest risers in electronic music? Well, you can certainly begin with the high-quality piece that we’ve included below, a tune which has been getting serious rotation in our personal music players as of late. The original track entitled Paradise, put together by Sweat It Out and (soon to be) Demento Mori recording artists Julien Salman and Andrea Starosse of Art Nouveau, gets a fresh take by Made to Play and Exploited recording juggernauts, Homework.
The remix starts off clean, teasing you with a subtle minimal-house groove, layered with a well-distinguished, french-chic lead. After the vocal breakdown, around the 3 min 30 second mark, is where this one really comes into its own. An indian flute loop teleports you to some distant, sun-soaked desert, and some timely percussive additions makes it easy to forget where you came from. Kudos to Homework for breathing new life into this one.
