It seems like every month we’re seeing our good friends drop substantially important releases across the broad spectrum of electronic music. With Gingy & Bordello’s Body Acid EP out later this month, alongside their remix for Renaissance Man out next week, the schedule for October looks especially busy, and it couldn’t have been kicked off in more sublime fashion — Mr. Poupon, Toronto’s tech house talisman checking in with his latest, an EP for Dub Noir.
Three bouncy originals topped off with Jorge Takei’s rendition of the lead single — it all makes for a pretty blissful ride through paradise, bringing you back to warmer climes, specifically, scenes of scantily clad loves mossing poolside, while you stir your fourth mojito in serene approval. Again, with all that in mind, I must say the Takei remix is a true asset to the release, putting the whole thing over the top.
