We’re just three spirited CDJ enthusiasts, who are undeniably passionate about all things electronic. We come from the Toronto area, and we feel that the ever-growing electronic music scene in the GTA could use a central hub, where listeners and DJs alike can unite under the banner of good music. We believe that electroTO is that banner.

Most importantly, the music on this space is purely promotional and is posted with the intention of increasing awareness and appreciation of the artists and tracks featured here. If you like the artist, we advise that you go see them live, buy their EP, buy a t-shirt or at the very least, leave them a message on myspace, facebook or twitter letting them know you appreciate what they do. At the end of the day, this is a business, and consumer support is essential. Also, we’re always looking for new talent, thus we have equipped our front page with a Sound Cloud tab — a trusty resource which we would strongly encourage anyone and everyone to use if you’ve taken the time to create a track or compile a mix.

Lastly, let us be clear — lucid, crystal, and to the point — our namesake “electroTO” does NOT denote any exclusive allegiance to “electro” as a sub-genre of electronic music. You need only read the expanse of our published material to realize this. We take a distinct kaleidescopic approach to electronic music, celebrating all tributaries, and we consider ourselves genre agnostic within the parameters of electronic music. Our name is, just that, a name, and must not be taken out of context. Thanks for your undying support!
