Boys Noize

It’s not like this individual needs much of an introduction. He’s arguably the best DJ in the world at the moment, and we have had the pleasure of seeing him twice here in Toronto– both times at This Is London nightclub. His name is Alex, but you probably know him as Boys Noize, the overlord of Boys Noize Records, and the man who has produced some of the most notorious unreleased material in recent memory.

Though everyone and their mother is talking about the infamous “Come With Me” track that surfaced during his tour earlier this year, two other bangers flew completely under the radar. Both of these tracks can be heard in full on Boys Noize’s MySpace, and will appear on the still unreleased Starter EP.

One of these track, which bears the same name as the EP itself (“Starter”), is the quintessential hard-hitting, mind-blowing, Boys Noize track. It got a unanimous five star rating from myself and Trackson, and most importantly, we are proud to announce that we have it for you in all its 320kbps glory. Enjoy kids, and don’t say we don’t love you.

Les Petit Pilous

If you have a promo mix in the works, you might want to consider editing your track list after you peep this gem from BNR’s high-power electro tandem, Les Petits Pilous. Though I’d love to tell you all that this track is unreleased, and/or totally exclusive, I can’t do it, seeing that it dropped over two years ago on LPP’s first EP, entitled “Hello, We Are”. But honestly speaking, if you opened with this slasher, I doubt anyone calls you on it.

The track goes by the name of “E Lec Tronic” and like most Les Petits Pilous tracks, it hits hard, over and over again. However, the headline-grabbing feature of this track isn’t a shredding electronic progression like “Wake Up”, but a killer robot vocal that resonates throughout the first minute and a half. I really can’t do the track justice by describing it to you in text, so peep the 320kbps version below, and find out for yourselves.
